NIPH Certificate – LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt
The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has issued a Certificate of Health Safety for the food supplement LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt.
The NIPH confirms that the composition and laboratory test results of this food supplement comply with binding regulations, particularly:
- Act No. 110/1997 Coll., on foodstuffs and tobacco products, as amended
- Ministry of Health Decree No. 58/2018 Coll., on food supplements and food composition
- Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers
- Regulation (EC) No. 1925/2006 on the addition of vitamins and minerals to foods
- Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1170/2009 (list of vitamins and minerals)
- Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 / (EC) No. 915/2023 – maximum levels of contaminants
The product was tested by the accredited testing laboratory of the National Institute of Public Health Prague (Testing Laboratory No. 1206).

The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) has also issued a Certificate of Health Safety for the food supplement LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt, effervescent tablets with minerals.
The NIPH confirms that the composition and laboratory test results of the effervescent tablets comply with binding legal regulations (the same scope of laws and regulations as above).
The product was laboratory tested by the accredited laboratory ALS Czech Republic s.r.o., Testing Laboratory No. 1163.

The NIPH has also issued a Certificate of Health Safety for the product SAL CAROLINUM – THERMAL SPRING SALT from Karlovy Vary mineral springs.
In this case, too, the NIPH confirms that the composition and laboratory test results comply with the binding legal regulations of the Czech Republic and the EU for food supplements and foodstuffs.
The product was tested by the accredited laboratory ALS Czech Republic s.r.o., Testing Laboratory No. 1163.

The NIPH confirms that the food supplement LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt is a freely tradeable product in the country of origin and there are no known objections to its export.
It is also confirmed that the product is suitable for human consumption and meets the requirements of Czech food law and related EU regulations.

The NIPH has issued an analogous certificate for LEON Karlovy Vary Thermal Spring Salt, effervescent tablets with minerals.
The product is freely available for sale in the country of origin, there are no known objections to its export, and it complies with the requirements of Czech and European legislation for food supplements and foodstuffs.
